The department is equipped with two postgraduate (PG) laboratories that provide basic instrumentation facilities to support MSc programs in Industrial Microbiology and Life Sciences. Additionally, a dedicated undergraduate (UG) laboratory is being established to cater to the BSc (Agriculture) program. The department have dedicated departmental library with 1450 books with 100+ titles and reference books available for PG and PhD students. Additionally, 100+ Thesis and Past 20 year’s PG dissertation reports are also available for the reference. The library has seating capacity of 20 visitor in reading area. The students / staff also have access to the central library facility with more facilities like more books, Subscription to online databases, access to e-books, e-journals, and research articles. Managed through software for catalog browsing, reservations, and renewals.
We have 3 classrooms equipped with LCD projectors.
Our institution offers a well-equipped computer facility featuring modern systems (total 10 computers) and high-speed internet connectivity. All teachers have computer/printer etc.
The institution houses a dedicated Animal House Facility, designed to support research and educational activities in life sciences to conduct ethical and regulated experiments in fields like pharmacology, toxicology, and biotechnology. Key features include: Temperature-controlled housing units to ensure animal welfare, Separate rooms for different species to prevent cross-contamination, Ventilation systems and hygienic enclosures for maintaining optimal living conditions. A well-trained staff manages feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of animals.
